It is recommended not to take the fan apart, instead use a vacuum cleaner with the narrow attachments or with the brush attachment to remove any dirt accumulated in the exhaust vents. You may also use a can of compresses air; it is suggested to do this procedure outdoors to remove any excess debris. Question:	How easy to clean it inside
Answer:	Mine is 3 months old & it is not making any noise. I would return it for a replacement fan as yours must be defective. It could be that it needs some WD40, but why should you have to deal with taking it apart & figuring how to put that on. We have a friend whose had theirs for years, & theirs do not make a clicking sound.

Answer:	I haven't gotten too fancy with the settings - didn't use the sleep mode or others - but the same speed and oscillation came back when I turned it on the next day - the same I had set it for the day before. So I didn't notice any 'reset'.
