I bought a number of them to cool HS band kids in a parade, most did not make it through the 1 mile route. Buy something better quality or get a cheap spray bottle from Walmart or Target without the fan. Good luck..

The summary is that they are trying to correct it now, as of 6/7/18, but meantime you can select a different seller who offers truly a free shipping. I just bought one for $2.70 with free shipping. But even with the seller I bought from was a little tricky. Question:	Does it small enough for my travel in this summer
Answer:	There is a little bottle that comes with the item that you can use to fill up the water holder. You can also just hold it under a faucet for a fraction of a second. You can see how much water is in the fan it because it is clear. The mister doesn't turn on until you hold down the button for a few seconds. You turn the mister off the same way. If you just want the fan on, don't turn on the mister. I have never used it long enough for the mister to run out, and I have had it on 10-15 minutes with the mister on. It does feel a little cooler with the mister, but it is a great little fan even without it. By the way, there is just one button. It turns the fan on and off, changes the speed, and starts and stops the mister. Additionally, there is a feature that lights up and changes colors, which is pretty, but not necessary. I recommend this product and am so happy I have it on these really hot days.

Answer:	The way to turn the mister on and off is to hold the button in for about 3-4 seconds. If the fan is turned off but the mister is on, that would explain the water droplets. You can barely see the mist coming out, but it does cool down the air significantly when the fan is on. Now the fan not being able to turn on? Did you fully charge it? Othewise, I would suggest to contact the manufacturer Maybe they would replace it.

Answer:	Hi Bill,I've been using this fan as an exhaust to pull hot air out of a computer closet. It turns 24x7 with no issues. I'm not sure of your design for an air filtration system, but I have two comments that might help. First, I wouldn't want this unit to be inline with a lot of sawdust. It doesn't strike me as the kind of fan that's design for that, so, as long as the air is filtered before it reaches fan that should be OK. Second, I'm not sure how big your woodshop is, but this fan does not move HUGE amount of air. My computer closet is maybe 15 sqft and even on low it's overkill for that small a space, but if you shop is very large it may not move as much air as you want.Don't get me wrong, I love Dayton fans. This is the second one I've owned and the first one is over 20 years old and still going strong! Good luck!
