Answer:	Yes. It doesn't matter what brand of box fan you use so I don't see how the brand of filter would matter either..

Answer:	It did not work with my particular box fan because the cord came from the motor in the middle of the back of the fan. Be sure your box fan is designed to pull air from the rear rather than push air out the front -- it is a matter of blade design. I use duct tape to fasten a fresh filter to the rear of my fan when needed.
Question:	Intake or exhaust side
Answer:	Intake side. It's much easier than using duct tape but the seal isn't as good. I like it though.
Question:	What size air filter does this take
Answer:	Hi Daymeeyan, we include a 20"X 20"X1" MERV8 pleated filter, but because the size is standard, when you replace that filter you may choose to upgrade to a MERV10, MERV13, Or Carbon filled for odors.

Answer:	Yes - If the 16ft standard line sets aren't long enough for where you plan to install your inside units, Senville will replace them with whatever length you need for an additional cost. 16ft was enough for one of my inside units, but I needed 35ft for the second one & 50ft for the third one. They only send 14/4 communication wire with the 16ft line sets so I bought 100ft from a big box home improvement store that sells DIY mini-splits. Worked perfectly. Just make sure the total length of your lines sets doesn't exceed the maximum length for the unit & that the vertical "drop" from the highest inside unit to the location on the ground where the outside unit will be sitting doesn't exceed the maximum either. In the U.S., outside units are charged with enough R410A Freon for a 25ft line set for each inside unit. The total length of my 3 line sets was 101ft (16+35+50) & my outside unit was charged for 75ft (25x3), so I needed to add R410A for an additional 26ft (101-75) - which was approximately 1/2lb. The amount of additional R410A you need to add for each additional foot can be found in the installation manual for the outside unit you buy. You can buy small cans of R410A made for "topping off" new systems when situations like this arise on eBay.

Answer:	I do not believe you can slow it down. There is no switch, lever, or dial. It just plugs in and goes. Unless you are electrically skilled enough, I do not believe it is possible.
Question:	Can it be used as an exaust or fan without switching the direction of the physical Blower? i.e. a button controlled reverseable
Answer:	There is no on/off switch, it just runs when plugged in. Also the direction of air flow is limited to one direction. Currently I am using the fan as exhaust, blowing out. But the air flow can only be changed by flipping the physical direction.

Question:	how difficult is the install without a preexisting fan
Answer:	There are two metal mounting brackets on the fan that mount to the structure with screws. A 3" flexible duct runs from the fan to a wall or roof cap. Two adjustable 3" metal screw clamps are required to hold the 3" flex duct to the fan & cap. An electrical circuit is required to power the fan & it requires an on-off switch. This requires a moderate amount of skill.
Question:	Will this replace 688-k? The K seem difficult to match. Thanks
