Question:	How many watts does it use on high or low levels
Answer:	the tank top part you can run through a dishwasher easily but the bottom part is really difficult to clean even by hand since you can’t separate any part of it and the grooves and indents are too narrow to get most scrubbers or sponges in. It’s not too bad but it’s not necessarily easy
Question:	How hard does the fan blow? I expect to be about 1.5 feet to 2 feet away from it at my work desk

Answer:	With both hands, lift the water tank off the base and flip over to avoid water from dripping from bottom of tank. Twist open the valve and fill with water. Reattach valve to water tank and reposition water tank onto the base with the water level window on the right side of the water tank. Optional: Decorative cover/nozzle is removable to gain access to the handle to lift tank off the base with one hand. However, please make sure to re-attach decorative cover/nozzle to top of water tank. And note that lifting the tank this way may cause some water to drip so it is better to just use both hands and flip the tank upside down.

To Semi-Clean it, buy yourself a can of Compressed Air and blast it once in a while. But, take it outside first, as dirt and dust "Will Fly".Today, I'm buying another one, same style. It's quiet, when newer and no bearing wear. It's powerful enough to blow across my head, (my hot spot), chest and down to my waist. I'm 6' 2" tall. So, it blows a good stream of air, (On HIGH Speed), about 4 to 5 feet away. After that it diminishes pretty fast. Of course, the cleaner the blades, the farther it pushes air. Answer:	Yes. This fan has a steady 'white noise' sound. On low it is softer than on the high setting. I like both of the levels. the sound seems to drown out other noises like cars going by etc.

Answer:	The front grill can be removed by unhooking the three arms that hold it to the fan body. It can be tricky the first time but once you do it, it becomes easier.

Answer:	Absolutely, yes. This fan is like the ones made in the 1950's in many ways. It is very well manufactured and better than the the originals with better protection of your fingers. I looked into it and saw the power switch is a quality one. And the wiring is first rate with a fuse in the plug end of the power cord. I am going to buy another one as well. On top of that, this fan collimates air(like a laser does to light, keeping it straight) out to(claimed) 50 feet. Sound follows the "inverse square law": double the distance, quarter the volume; 3x d = 1/9 v, 4x d = 1/16 v, and so on. So move it far away and enjoy the quiet.

They open a Warranty Claim, you provide proof of purchase date (easy if bought on Amazon), along with the non-working fan’s Serial/Model # (located on fan itself), they instruct you to cut the fan’s power cord and take pics to send to Vornado. After that’s completed, they ship a new fan to you. My rep spoke fluent English.
