Question:	Can you charge and use this fan at the same time
Answer:	Yes you can. The cord that comes with the fan is quite short since it's a USB plug in and my guess is it's meant to be charged using a computer, but I used a wall USB adapter to charge it while using it and it worked great.
Question:	I have the fan but misplaced the charging cord. Can the cord be purchased separately
Answer:	I charge the fan with the same cord that I charge my Kindle on. So, if you have a Kindle, you should be all set. If you don't, I am sure Amazon sells a cord for that....
Question:	how does the metal u shaped arm atttach to it, ? Also, when instructions talk about attaching to an umbrella, how do they mean to attach it
Answer:	Mine was not attached either. The open end of the metal bar slides around the "neck" of the fan (about half an inch under the fan blades on the handheld portion) and fits neatly into the slots under the "power" and "charging" lights on either side of the neck. So the open side of the metal bar should be under the power button. Not sure how to attach to an umbrella, but likely you use the metal bar once it's attached or perhaps the black hooks on the backside of the fan...not positive though!
Question:	The battery stopped working. Can you send me a replacement
Answer:	You can buy it online (one 18650 LI-ION BATTERY) or recharge it by plugging it in with the USB cable. Make sure you remove the plastic tab between the battery and unit when it arrives (under the power cover). It comes fully charged and ready to go and is rechargeable once you remove that tab and plug the USB in.

Answer:	it moves quite a lot of air. if you put it at the bottom of a staircase and have a door open, i could see it doing that. the problem is then the draw, where is the air coming down into the basement from that will replace the air you are moving up? if it's from the same staircase then I could just see a loop.

Answer:	It is about 6 1/4 inch give or take and the length of the blade is about 8 inches.

Question:	Will this be safe and ok to stay outdoors, i will put it under my open arbor and is it complete as sold and only need a water hose connected
Answer:	I know what you are going through with the inconsistent info. I went through a Hassle of 2 hours trying to figure it out myself with two different Amazon rep yesterday. The summary is that they are trying to correct it now, as of 6/7/18, but meantime you can select a different seller who offers truly a free shipping. I just bought one for $2.70 with free shipping. But even with the seller I bought from was a little tricky. There was approximately $28.00 shipping fee when I tried to purchase two of them, so I had to settle for just one which was truly a free shipping. I suppose we all must be very careful when checking out a payment transaction even with Amazon.
Question:	Can this be used in a greenhouse
Answer:	This fan does not snap out nor does it stay extended well. Mine does not close smoothly either two of the ribs have to be individually closed. No sound can be associated to the opening of the fan. Still, it is pretty, functions well for moving the air around, and is sturdy.

Answer:	It is a very lightweight fabric, but I am not sure if it is silk. Definitely not paper. I purchased a sandalwood hand fan from another vendor, and it really isn't as nice as this one. It comes with a nice cover to keep it covered and protected from anything sharp that may be in a lady's purse. The picture really doesn't do it justice. It really is quite pretty. I am very pleased with it.

Answer:	The 20" floor model does NOT have a fully enclosed motor. I ordered the fan based on this answer from the seller that the motor was enclosed. The motor coils are open to the environment through many large slots in the motor housing. This is NOT suitable for dusty locations such as barns.

Disclaimer: I'm not an electrician, but I do all my own electrical, took home wiring as an elective in high school, and recently smoked a receptacle because I miswired it.

Answer:	I would estimate approx 150 sf area

Answer:	Depends on the size of your box. It doesn’t fit in ours because we have something else plugged in as well. But keep in mind you CAN’T use an extension cord with this fan! It will not reset the breaker if you plug it into an extension cord. We were confused by this and tried several cords then read right on the fan cord you can’t use one.
Question:	Does the fan oscillate slowly, as a ceiling fan on low
Answer:	Hello, The speed on our lowest speed can be comparable to a ceiling fan on low. The oscillation is the back and forth movement. This movement is slower as well. I would say it is a standard oscillation speed. We have passed all of the safety standards and these standards require specific speeds for ALL fans. This is a 55 watt motor (the largest of all our styles). This fan is also height adjustable. I know I have answered more of the question but I hope this was helpful.
