Answer:	The 115115 HEPA replacement filter will fit the WAC9500 unit if you first remove the complete original filter cartridge that came with the 9500. Insert the 115115 filter into the unit fist (where the cartridge used to be) and then insert one of the black carbon filters so that the black carbon filter is facing the front of the unit and is on top. You should replace the black carbon filter once every three months which is why you get four of them when you purchase a 115115 filter

Answer:	How can the dimensions be so different, one person says they are one inch thick and another 1 1/2 inches thick -- that's a big difference, and none of the other measurements are the same either. Does anyone know what the true dimensions are for the hepa filter as well as the somewhat smaller charcoal filters.

Answer:	I agree with the other gentleman, I recently bought the 5300-2 and wished I had purchased the 5500-2 with the better charcoal filter. So I contacted Winix directly and this is the reply I got about substituting the 5500-2 charcoal filter rather than the thinner sheets that came with the 5300-2: "Filter H (the one with the 5500-2) will fit your 5300-2 model! Just keep in mind the added thickness will cause your pre filter to stick out slightly but it is okay to function that way."
Question:	Winix 5300 seems to be same size as Winix 5500; can't I just use this filter set in the 5300 for higher performance
Answer:	I bought the renewed option. It's basically an open box version for less money. Sometimes repaired, or maybe returned. Mine was missing a part which Bissell replaced free. If the listing doesn't say renewed, it should be a new, never opened box. Just a customer myself, but I have used mine many times and am delighted with how it it cleans.
