Answer:	Are you sure it leaves and twigs and not the fan picking up the water in the bottom of it. If you installed it according to the insulation instructions you should have cut back any tree limbs that would shed leaves and twigs and interfere with the cooling of the unit. Check the drain see if the plug is still in it or if it is stopped up.

Answer:	AC unit itself is 19 inches wide. There is a bracket on each side, to install the supplied window side panels, that are used when mounting in larger width windows. The AC unit is just under 20 1/2 inches when you include these brackets in the measurement. So it should just fit with about 1/4 inch on each side. The small gap can be filled with foam tape or even cardboard. I like to use foam pipe insulation. It's cheap and easy to cut to desired size to fill gaps, etc. This unit has worked well so far.

Answer:	I've never, ever heard of a warranty becoming void because a window or through-wall air conditioner wasn't installed by the seller. Freidrich does also make Ductless Split systems, and I CAN imagine the possibility of the warranty being void if a homeowner installs it, as it requires professional installation. (Mostly the evacuation and charging process, which needs to be done precisely or component failure could occur)

Answer:	I'm afraid no. The blue light is the power indicator and will be on once you run the machine.

Answer:	This produces ozone which is different from negative ions. You can stay in a room with a device that produces negative ions; whereas,. you cannot stay in a room with one that generates ozone (O3). This particular unit generates a lot of ozone for its size and price. I used it to finally clear out the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in a used car I bought 18 months ago.
Question:	Can this be installed vertically, instead of horizontally
Answer:	Thanks for your question. Yes, ozone can kill mold and remove the smell. However, the max ozone output of B50 is only 50mg/h, which means it will take much longer to kill them. Please clean up the surface with mold first, then close doors and windows and run the unit. Answer:	Yes, it does a great job of cooling and a decent job of heating a room in our home. I would call it supplemental heat-if it isn't going to be super cold (-30), it should be fine!
Question:	Just purchased and am trying tk heat about 350 sq ft. it will not blow heat. its "warm" air. but we have it set to 75 and it feels ice cold... why
Answer:	I have it in my bedroom which is about 250 square feet. The air does feel cold but I have the put the thermostat at around 82 to start warming. After a couple of hours it gets too warm and then I lower it. I just use it to heat my bedroom when I need. I will usually go turn it on about a hour before bedtime.

Question:	My recently purchased house has a framed out (very old) wall unit that measures 20"Hx28"W. Would this fit in the wall to replace it
Answer:	The unit is 18.625" H x 26.5" W x 26.5" D... So it WILL fit in the cutout, but you will need to cover the approx 2" Width and 2" on its length... Which j don't see as all too difficult of a task. Hope this answered your question. Thank you!
Question:	What does "supplemental heat only" mean, and why would a heating unit need to be above 45 degrees for it to work
Answer:	Because much like a ac won't work above 100*F because it can't extract the cold out of the air, at 45 degrees or below it can't extract and concentrate enough heat so it has to turn on heating coils, similar to that of a conventional space heater, but due to power and space constraints, the coils, also called supplemental heat system, is only 1/3 as powerful as the main heat pump system. Essentially in very cold environments this will not function well.
Question:	Does it take a 20 amp breaker
Answer:	You must not have used the heat mode if you have not blown the breaker yet. I am assuming there is a 5 KW heater circuit based on the BTU rating and that would require the 30 amp circuit and breaker they are requiring.
Question:	I am seeing a pattern of units being damaged in shipping. Does the warranty cover shipping damage? Or how is that handled
Answer:	It's a very heavy unit. My unit was damaged in transit. Deal with Amazon customer service, they'll take it back and ship a new one. They did it for me with no questions asked and zero problems.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. This product is designed more to help insulate the additional space then actually fill it. Due to the fact it is a foam that is permeable it would be able to breathe. If you plan on inserting and removing the fan (like if it rained for instance) then this might work even though not the exact application of this product. A better product to assist you would be screwing a small section of plywood cut to fit or a section of rigid pink foam sold at hardware stores. I hope that i assisted you with your question.
