However, you should have someone who is knowledgeable (professional) about electrical power, tie the compressor to its power source (208-230v). All our manufactures strongly recommend that you have a HVAC professional pressurize the lines. This is a minimum fee, since they are not adding any coolant to the system. Answer:	I'm not 100% clear on what you mean regarding a pad. If you are talking about the outdoor unit, it can sit on the ground/cement pad or be mounted on a wall. Hopefully that was the question.

Answer:	Save your money, this kit is made from cheap glass that cracked first time I used it. Other than that, it’s only good to show on a VERY small scale how the distillation process.

Answer:	I’m a novice at this to the point that my husband had to help me set up the distiller. I’ve used it to make ethanol extracts and, for that, it works fine. It is, according to him, pretty much like a high school chemistry set. Not knowing exactly what you’re doing, the most I can tell you is that if you do order this one, be really careful when you unpack it. I struggled getting the distillation flask out and broke it in the process. I use the submersible pump from our kitty’s drinking fountain to recirculate the water for the condenser. I find the whole process fascinating and addictive.
