Answer:	The type of Freon doesn't matter to the vacuum pump. I have used mine on both a car and a home AC unit. This pump should accommodate the fittings on your Jeep. If you use it on a home type AC unit you will need different adapters to fit the ports on the AC. These are inexpensive and easily obtained on Amazon.
Question:	Dumb Question? Where is the refigerant stored when pulling a vacuum
Answer:	To answer your question directly, the refrigerant is stored in a refrigerant recovery tank / refrigerant recovery machine. Ironically, if you had a recovery machine, you wouldn't need to buy this kit.. Refrigerant will not be in the system when when drawing down into a vacuum. This kit allows you to vacuum the system and charge new refrigerant back into the system. Nothing about it recovers and stores refrigerant.

Question:	Is there any way to regulate the vacuum on this to use it for other applications? I only need maybe 5 bars of vacuum to vacuum bag a surfboard
Answer:	Yes I use a small adjustable valve for my paint gun works fine

Answer:	No it does not pull the freon you need to take it and have that done. It only pulls the moisture and air out after opening up the system
Question:	could this be used for vacuuming the air out of a car cooling system
Answer:	Yes, that's what it's made for... for home mechanics on the cheap. It uses a venturi vacuum. Need an air compressor and the AC hoses also to make it work.

Little Giant VCMA Series is ideal for collecting, detecting, and the automatic removal of condensate from air conditioning equipment, de-humidifiers, high efficiency furnaces, condensing boilers, and other equipment where an automatic drain pump is required. The VCMA-20ULS features a stainless steel pump shaft, a snap-action pump switch, a removable 3/8 inch barbed check valve, a 6 foot power cord, and a 1/30 horsepower high performance motor with thermal overload protection. The pump also features an ABS tank, ABS motor cover, and ABS volute. With a check valve, the VCMA-20ULS pumps 80 GPH (with a discharge head of one foot). The pump's tank has a capacity of 1/2 gallon.

Question:	Does this pump have a safety switch
Answer:	Yes, Andrew Bauer covered it well. However, you must regularly maintain the pump according to the manufacturer's instructions, or the safety switch won't work when needed. I didn't know about the maintenance requirement (thanks, installers), so my 18 year old old pump didn't stop the A/C and I ended up with water all over the place. The one time in 18 years I needed the safety switch and it didn't work! Just make sure you put pump maintenance on your calendar.
Question:	All these pumps use 3/8" tubing. I have a 40' run (3.5' max lift). I think PVC would be easier to keep the drain line straight (no sags). Thoughts
Answer:	A 40' run is a long way, but since your rise is only 3 1/2', that should not be a problem. I'm not a pro, but I expect the pump to work fine as long as you adhere to the 3/8" diameter.
Question:	I want to connect this to our dehumidifier and drain out to the utility sink about 15 feet away. Can it go horizontal first then up? (about 3 feet
Answer:	Absolutely, yes. The total "head" of your installation is only 3 feet, which is much less than the rated 15-20 feet. Should have no problem.
Question:	Does it come with a built in check valve
Answer:	Mine at times just stays running,check valve works. I have taken it apart and cleaned it still randomly stays running,have to pull out power cord then it works
