Question:	Will this work on a crank window opening
Answer:	Yes, it will work in a crank-window opening. BUT you'll need to cut and install some kind of fill-in -- (a piece of clear plexiglass or something else, even cardboard) to fill up the remaining open space in the window -- the space that is left open above or to the side of the exhaust hose -- in that partially cranked-open window -- after you install the exhause into the window's open space. Otherwise, obviously, hot air will make its way back into the room from outside (assuming that the outside air is warmer than you want the temperative in the room to be. That isn't always the case: sometimes outside air can be cool, and the temperature inside is hotter than you like, but you choose to run your Penguino air conditioner to cool the room down rather than leave your windows open. You could, of course, just open that window -- but often you don't want to leave a window open (insects, pollution, privacy, other reasons). My Penguino A/C is especially useful in those moments.
