Question:	Will it work in austin, texas humidity? and how loud is it
Answer:	If it is really humid it may not cool quite as well, but Austin has enough really hot dry days it should do just fine. I am from there and moved to west Texas and bought one. I liked it so well I bought another. May be moving back to the Austin area and these will definitely be coming back with me!
Question:	How long will it run before the water runs out
Answer:	I also get about 3 or 4 hours. I just run it until I can hear the water dripping inside, then add more water.
Question:	how much water does it take?.....Can you add ice?....what happens if you fall asleep and it runs out of water,will the pump be damaged
Answer:	The unit takes about 4 gallons of water. Yes, I have added ice to the water chamber. There is not an automatic shutoff so I am quite sure you would burn up the pump if you let it run dry. Also, you need to run the unit on fan only for at least 1/2 hour after usage to dry the membrane. Others have complained of their water smelling, but I’m sure it was the membrane from not being properly dried after use. I have mine plugged into a timer so that when I’m finished with it and turn it to fan only, it shuts off automatically after 1/2 hour.
Question:	How do you install the casters? Past the tip there’s is a ring that prevents me from inserting them completely. What am I missing
Answer:	Place the wheels with the "brake" in the front of the unit. Tap with cloth-covered hammer or rubber mallet to set them into place. Hope that helps!

Question:	can I use regular tap water for this product? How many hours does it work if I fill up the tank
Answer:	Yes, nobody would be able to buy enough distilled water to run this if that were required. It uses a good bit of water..how much is dictated by how high you run it. I can easily get about 10 or 12 hours out of a full tank if run on low.
Question:	Will this unit work in southwest Florida where the humidity is high
Answer:	No!! These are completely dependent on humidity differentials. I've read tons of reviews and background. They'll work to some degree as long as the relative humidity is less than 100%, but you're probably better off with a non-evaporative cooler in Florida. They work like crazy in desert areas, but even then, they can only do a max of about 20'F difference from outside temp. They might work okay in concert with a traditional central air system, since that actually de-humidifies the inside air. But I don't know.

Question:	Is it normal for the "cool" icon light to flash or is it a warning
Answer:	If the Cool LED light is flashing on the control panel, this can be an indication that the evaporator coils are frosting up or are too cold. It is signaling that the evaporator temperature is too low and that the compressor may need to cycle off briefly until the evaporator temperature rises. The primary cause for the evaporator temperature being too low is low outside temperatures while the unit is running (below 70F).

Answer:	We are actually going to be returning it. It does not do anything more than a portable fan would do.
Question:	How many hours will one tank of water last
Answer:	It depends on a couple thing no. 1 what speed the fan is on low, med, or high? No. 2 how much water you put in the bottom tank. No. 3 do you have the cooler on or just the fan on with water running across it. I personally always fill it close to the max to make it last the longest. I only put the cooler on when it starts getting hot. I would say 8 hrs cooler on low, 6hrs med, 4 hrs. low. What ever the time it lasts, it's easy to fill with a pitcher or I use a big pot and fill it with water and dump it. I fully enjoy this cooler it does it's job very well and uses hardley any electricity. I do not reget this purchase at all I love this swamp cooler. Gets the room cool fast.

Answer:	There is no thermostat setting. The snowflake button is actually the humidifier function. Cooling automatically happens based on more humid air.

Answer:	I kept Gallon jugs of ice water in the refrigerator for use. It holds 7.9 gallons of water and will provide humidifying cold air for 24 to 48 hours without a refill.

Answer:	The ribbed hose on mine came with a hole in it also, strange. i had to make sure the water level is above the hole other wise the water pump beeps and then stopped.

Answer:	Yes, It can be work as a fan, if you don't select "COOL" option. But sound noise is louder compare to a plain fan. In the COOL position is stay the same noise as fan.
Question:	How many hours does the "cool air" blow (i.e. how long does the ice pack/water last)? Will it last a full 8 hours
Answer:	When filled, the water in the tank can last 8 hours (I've had it last longer somehow), but the ice pack will only last maybe 2 hours in warm water. So you will get 2 hours of cold water (extra cold air) and 6 hours of room temp water (cool air).

Answer:	All of our products are recommended for outdoor use or use in a facility with an open area to allow fresh air to circulate.

Answer:	The model I have is supposed to have a low water interlock to shut the pump off.

Answer:	It is up to you whether you put ice in your evaporative cooler. Most likely it won’t hurt anything – we say most likely because theoretically your pump could suck up a piece and seize up. If you choose to put ice in your product, you can remove the media from the back and place in the tank.
Question:	Would it work in North Georgia
Answer:	We live in a dry climate and it works very good in the general area of my shop that I aim the blower . I am always glad it there on a very hot day. I think that any area that house water coolers work that this will be fine.

Answer:	when trning it on you are probable setting the time mode, or it is too humid you have to adjust humid level default is low like if you are in humid area you can turn t up to say 70...
Question:	The directional loevers do not stay in place, they continually drop. What can i do
Answer:	Mine didn't either. I returned the unit because of multiple problems that it had.
Question:	What is the daily cost..full speed day and night
Answer:	It really depends on how much you pay per kilowatt-hour (KWH). It is only 120 watts. So 2.880 KWH a day. With my power rates it is just shy of $0.50 a day.
Question:	It is squirting water out on the side - can it be fixed or should I return it
Answer:	The problem appears to be a design flaw, so, unless they have changed the design returning the item for replacement would not be a good option. In my experience, the "fix" was fairly easy. If you are talking about water running down the media to a spot just above the hose/float inlet where it then runs out and down the outside of the reservoir, I found that by removing the mesh screen on the side element, and then slightly compressing the media at that corner, allows the water to continue down the inside of the reservoir and not run out the side. This does not significantly impact the performance of the unit as you only need to compress a small amount of the media. I hope this works to remedy your problem.

A: They are located within the unit under the top lid that says HESSAIRE in large letters.

Q: Why doesn’t it cool right away? I just plugged it in but it’s not cooling?

A: You need to fill the water compartment to full to allow the water pump to prime. Once that happens, it will begin to cycle the water and within 15 minutes will be cooling efficiently. On the Amazon listing in the Technical Specification section, there is a PDF User Manual that can walk you through setup.

Answer:	Fans moving air tend to be somewhat loud. The more air moved the more cooling effect you get. I would say many people would think it is loud. I think it is functional. Turn up the radio or TV and the sound from the fan will tend to become less noise and more background.

Answer:	We run the unit for 3-4 hours and have to refil it every other day. We run the air on high and flow of water nearly max. Hope this helps. It's a great unit for the 350 sq foot space we use it in.

Answer:	Moving air is always noisy. The more air you move the louder it gets. The unit itself is actually quiet considering the amount of air it moves. There is minimal motor sound and on low speed it is relatively quiet. We just upgraded to a window mount unit that moves 4500 CFM and it makes the Honeywell seem very quiet. bBasically it is about the same sound level as a fan moving the same amount of air.

Answer:	It will add some, but not much. Keep in mind that this is a personal product, not a room air conditioner. You need to be sitting in front of it to gain any benefit from the cooling air. It doesn't put out a great volume of air but is a benefit if you are in a warm room and sitting at a desk, etc.

Answer:	where can I get an electric outlet cord for the product. I bought one and only got a usb cable which doesnt help me

1.) How does it work?

Once activated, a pump inside the water tank saturates the interior cooling pads. Then, as hot air enters the unit, heat is absorbed by the pads, evaporating the moisture and decreasing air temperature before it recirculates into the room.

Answer:	I think it’s to simulate a breeze. So it varies speeds to do so. I don’t like it

Answer:	This uses way more then 65 watts I bought this air cooler for off grid set up which has 5 400 watt batteries= 2000 watts. The batteries will stay in 80-90% charge until the sun goes down then this supposedly 65 watt air cooler will drag the batteries down to 50% after running for just one hour without the sun. These are newer batteries there is no way this is 65 watts.

Question:	Does the humidifier permit you to mix essential oils to the water without damaging it
Answer:	I read somewhere not to add anything other than water to the water tank. The unit is made by Intertek. Maybe their website has more information. Having said that, I put ice in the water tank to cool our room faster. We absolutely love this unit.

The first half of the mix is clean water. As for the second, lemon juice or citric acid are both excellent mold killers. Clean and dry the tank with this cleansing agent. Pay special attention to the drying stage, for you're trying to get rid of the damp, not create more. Treat the hoses and cooling pads with the same mix, then you should use a damp cloth to wipe away any residue. Dry everything. By the way, a half-and-half vinegar and water substitute also works. Just don't use the mix on the pads, not unless you want the smell of vinegar in the air whenever the newly cleaned evaporative cooler is utilized. Best Regards Customer Care

Answer:	I use the kind you purchase in the sporting goods area for small camping/lunch size coolers. I pop 1 or 2 in the tank and voila! Cool air!

Answer:	It is definitely not quiet but also has 4 fan speeds.
Question:	It looks like it has a light. Can that be turned off
Answer:	It has a different light configuration for each of the four power settings. It can be turned off. It's power by a USB C cord (included). I usually plug mine into one of my computer's USB ports, or plug into my Anker portable battery when I'm out in another room. Don't expect it to cool a large area, but it's cost efficient alternative to keep cool.
Question:	can it be used in a car
Answer:	I use it in my van when not moving, it does cool the air a bit, I am in the desert where it is very hot somebody gave me the idea to try ice in the cooler to make it even colder. And the water won’t spill out if you leave it upright on the seat, the cover slides over it, you just don’t want it to go flying off the seat if you stop fast, consider a bungee cord. This would be enough to cool the driver but I don’t think the whole car by itself unless it is not too hot where you are. I don’t know what normal is since I moved into the desert! I was using it in like 99 degree weather in the closed car and it wasn’t enough but i wasn’t dying either, but I wasn’t comfortable and had to leave the situation. Even with a fan on to try to circulate the air better.
Question:	With it being used with an oscillating fan, would it help cool a small room
Answer:	No. I have it on my nightstand to blow cool air on me at night but it doesn’t have much power. Doesn’t affect the temperature in the room at all. The water only lasts a few hours too so it runs out quickly.
