Answer:	Probably. We have it under a wall mounted TV so I can’t say for sure, but it’s pretty sturdy and TVs are lighter weight these days.

Answer:	Yes, there are pre-drilled holes where the door hinge is attached, if that's what you mean. My model has the top shelf open and the bottom is a long drawer. I had a carpenter assemble it for me as I didn't want to bother and he advised me to be careful when moving it because he wasn't confident with the cam locks holding up the furniture. I think you'd be better off with the Besta model at IKEA. My brother has one and it seems sturdy. This particular furniture that you're purchasing has thin laminate surfaces that chip easily if you're not careful. Not worth the price, in my opinion.
