Answer:	I'm using it temporarily in an apartment to house TV/sound equipment while we renovate a permanent home. I'm honestly not sure about how a TV would look on it. My TV approx the same size you have, but it is hanging on the wall over the unit. The quality is more than acceptable-- it surely doesn't look like fine furniture, but we were primarily looking for function.
Question:	Are the shelves adjustable
Answer:	In the center part alone you can hold 18 high between both rows. Multiply by 3 length wise while still displaying titles. 54 with titles displayed. If you hide some behind you can double that. If you place them by the shorter sides you can fit 4 length wise. 4 X 18 = 72. 72 * 2 = 184. You can fit about 36 in each cabinet. 36 * 2 = 74. The top layer can hold about 8 high and then I would say about 6 across long ways and 8 across short ways. Again two layers thick so another 64 * 2 = 128. So max 184 + 74 + 128 = 386. Of course this figure is only DVDs and with optimal placement, which would hide the titles.

Answer:	There are multiple holes that you can use to adjust the height of that middle shelving part. If you put it in the middle like I did it makes it about even at 5 1/2 inches on both the top and the bottom. To me the picture of the product looks like they put the shelving in the top most holes and that's why it appears bigger on the bottom than the top. I think if you were to put the shelf in the bottom most hole or the top most hole, it would probably give you around 7 inches in one and 3 1/2 or 4 in the other but take that with a grain of salt since I just eye balled it and only measured how I have it now.
