The only thing is it is not a wall hugger recliner and will require the same distance away from the back wall as any non wall hugger type. Answer:	No it does not. But it is extremely soft and comfortable. Very very happy with it. As far as I know electric recliner lifts do not rock or swivel for safety.

Answer:	The Lift actuator is easy to replace and you can probably do it yourself. Also check your warranty and you can ask Amazon if they will cover warranty on it since it's under a year? The model number you can get off the actuator itself. I priced mine between $70 and $125.

Answer:	No, unfortunately the foot rest only extends when you recline the back.. I will tell you though that the chair has been terrific. I bought it for my 93 yr old father who has cancer, and he loves it. It reclines well, is very comfortable, and the lift helps him to get out. He naps there almost every day. My only complaint is the chair is somewhat noisy when reclining.
