How to measure your rocking chair for replacement cushions

Although our rocking chair cushions fit many brands of rockers and some gliders, not all brands are the same size & some brands offer multiple sizes. The chairs shown in our photos may be a different size than your chair. Be sure to measure your chair before ordering cushions.

Where to take the measurements

• Seat Width is measured at the widest points, left to right, across the front of the seat; Seat Depth is measured front to back, along the center
• Back Width is measured across the top rail (aka crest rail, aka headrest); Back length is measured along the back post (aka stile) from the top rail to the bottom rail, if the rocker has no bottom rail measure the length of the spindles and subtract 3".
• Our cushions are tapered for best fit; the back of the seat cushion is about 5" narrower, the bottom of the backrest cushions is about 2" narrower
• Cushion dimensions are approximate +/- 2"

How to get the best fit

• Latex Foam may expand as much as 2" after shipping, give the cushions time to expand after taking them out the box
• Sitting on your new cushions will help them break-in faster, they may appear undersize before they break in

Answer:	My sister is 320 pounds-survived her girth and weight!

Answer:	Chairs are hardwood, table is hardwood with a veneer overlaid
Question:	Do you make an outdoor rated version with the buffalo check pattern
Answer:	If I remember right 48" inch. I must tell you though, I had 3 complete sets of this table and chairs sent to me. I never got even 1 good table out of the bunch and only got 5 good chairs out of 18! Very poor quality and workmanship. I would not recommend buying this set at all.

How to measure your outdoor rocking chairs, porch rockers and gliders for replacement cushions

Although our Garden Collection cushions fit many brands of rocking chairs and some gliders, not all brands are the same size & some brands offer multiple sizes. The rockers shown in our photos may be a different size than your chair. Be sure to measure your rocking chair before ordering cushions.

How to measure your rocking chair for Barnett Home Decor brand cushions

• Seat Width is measured at the widest points, left to right, across the front of the seat; Seat Depth is measured front to back, along the center
• Back Width is measured across the top rail (aka crest rail, aka headrest); Back length is measured along the back post (aka stile) from the top rail to the bottom rail, if the rocker has no bottom rail measure the length of the spindles and subtract 3".
• Our cushions are tapered for best fit; the back of the seat cushion is about 5" narrower, the bottom of the backrest cushions is about 2" narrower
• Cushion dimensions are approximate +/- 2"

How to get the best fit

• Latex Foam may expand as much as 2" after shipping, give the cushions time to expand after taking them out the box
• Sitting on your new cushions will help them break-in faster, they may appear undersize before they break in
• Untie cushions from each other when they arrive; tie seat cushion to rocker seat; tie backrest cushion to rocker back

Question:	Is there a weight limit
Answer:	The published weight limit is 250lbs. The new Freestyle Rocker Pro has a 300lb limit. You can tell the Pro version from the original by looking at the cup holder. On the original, it is in the front/right; on the Pro, it’s on the side with a cellphone holder
Question:	Is the motion more like a glider than a rocker? How is this better than a folding rocker with more standard rocker legs? TY
Answer:	This is an outstanding rocker with an easy motion. It is the best of both worlds. The shock absorbers on the back legs keep it smooth and easy allowing for a gentle rocking motion But when you want the chair to "act" like a chair, such as at a table, the front legs are fixed, so you can stop the forward motion without the chair continuing to tilt forward.

Our Story

Founded in 1889 by a harness-maker, we made the best mule collar pads in the South...until the day Uncle Sam called on us to make canvas tents for the US Armed Forces. After the post-WWII boom in new home ownership, demand heightened for quality soft furnishings at affordable prices. That's when we started making latex foam cushions and textile home decor.

For the first 30 years you could have any fabric you wanted on your cushions, as long as it was corduroy. Then in 1981, Pitt talked his daughter Barbie into leaving her successful career marketing rock n roll albums to help with the family business.

With a woman's insight into home decor fashions, she introduced designer fabrics into the line. After inheriting the company in 1990, she became our company President.
