Answer:	My granddaughter has been using this table and chair for several months . I used it on the rug or bare floor and the caps on the chair and table seem to keep it from slipping. One word of caution: be sure the chair is fully opened. It needs to sort of click ,otherwise it will fold.

Answer:	Fully extend the chair from lowest setting too highest, as you do count the clicks to the top(if you extend past the last click it unlocks the chair and collapses back to lowest setting). Now go all the way back to the bottom and raise the chair one click at a time to the desired hight, the chair will lock after each click if you push down unless you extend past the last click then it unlocks and goes all the way back down.

Answer:	I think that the top was not designed for this use. The surface is not as smooth as the surfaces of dry erase boards. It is easy to clean (I already wiped off marker stains on the surface), but not the classic dry erase surface. Maybe you can contact customer service and post their reply! Good luck.
