Question:	Will this cushion fit a standard folding chair, the type with padded seat and open lower back? Or will it fall thru the opening
Answer:	I suppose the lumbar cushion will fall through the opening, there is a strap on the lumbar, it may help to fix it on the folding chair but it may not work very well as the lumbar will slip away or slip out then your back lean against on it. Answer:	Spouse is over 6 ft tall, and he looks like a clown sitting in a child's chair. It's not a very big chair at all. The max weight capacity is 300 LBS, but honestly I'm half of that and after owning the chair just a few weeks it's already falling apart. Avoid it!

Answer:	That smell is not just from flame retardant. That smell comes from just about everything man made such as: the foam cushion, artificial leather, laminates, carpets and so on and so forth. The reason some new products do not have the smell is because the manufacturer has the good sense to let that thing air out in the factory for a few days before shipping it to retailers that immediately ship it to customers.

Answer:	I just checked again, and it fits around my car seat--it's an Audi Q5, mid-size SUV. I would say this is the largest seat it would accommodate.. Since I don' t know what kind of car seat you have--if it's one of those HUGE SUVs/truck type seats, then, no the strap won't stretch that much.

Answer:	The arm rests are separate pieces of the assembly. They can't be lowered but if you don't want them, you can leave them off.
