Answer:	LOL, I'm sitting at my desk cross-legged right now. The wings are not a problem for me at all. I love this chair. It's comfortable and very nice looking. My dog (now my co-worker) is always putting his big paws up on the arm of the chair to get my attention and there are no marks or scrapes at all, so it's sturdy material.

Answer:	This is also what I am interested in knowing. I like sitting up straight from the waist up but need my legs lifted to take pressure off my lower back. So I always end up with my legs in weird positions. If anyone else has this same issue I’d love to hear from you if this chair is comfy with the leg part kicked up but the back NOT reclined. 😇

Answer:	No it doesn't lock at all, and it starts moving back upright as soon as you use the leg rest. I feel like I wasted my money, and the seller will not respond to any of my comments or concerns. Please try a different chair.
