Answer:	There are little rubber (fairly firm rubber) disks on the bottom of each chair - so I think it should not scratch --- we just installed new hardwood floors and removed the small rubber protective disk/pads and added two 4 inch length thick felt pads to the metal bottoms of each chair - the chairs literally glide on the smooth wood floors - so this may be an otion for you!

Answer:	Yes it worked perfect, you'll also need a 2'x2' piece of plywood.

Answer:	I do not know - I actually returned it because it did not have the hardware - the box was opened on one side and it must have fallen out. I contacted the seller and they passed me back to Amazon. I kind of felt they were passing the buck so I returned it and ordered a different one that I have not received yet.

Answer:	We used them for two barrel style chairs to replace the cheap, flimsy legs that came with them. We didn’t use slides. We attached them to a piece of plywood on the under side of the chairs with screws.

Question:	Are these counter height or bar height stools
Answer:	Counter height. We used them at our kitchen counter. Very nice, deep seats. Don't bother with the assembly instructions, they are crazy, use common sense and they go together easily.
Question:	What is the weight capacity
Answer:	We bought 4 and have had people up to 220 sitting in ours. No problems with weight...just had one broken on arrival...and that chair is not sturdy with weight more than a young child. It needs to be reinforced underneath where it's broken.
