Answer:	I guess you "could" use it for a step stool for a tall bed, but it's 15" high, so that step is going to be a HUGE step. I wouldn't think this would be a good solution, but rather an actual step stool with multiple steps might be best. I use it as recommended as a storage bench ottoman at the foot of my bed and it is perfect!
