Answer:	No a manual did not come with it but when purchased they sent a link to a Youtube video. I would definitely watch either the video link they send or just Youtube it yourself before using. They show how you should tape off the non-grooved part so that you do not accidentally make any scratches and how to lubricate grooves before using tool.

Answer:	It is recommended that you sharpen the grooves after every 6-10 uses of that club. I sharpened my wedges several times this year and I can't believe how much more bite I got around the greens.
