Answer:	No. There is a 4.5" sturdy foam base with a 1.5" memory foam top. It's only on the one side. So it is only the one side that has the memory foam top portion. The dimensions are the same, except the radii are a little bigger on the mattress than the bassinet - which is not really a problem.

Answer:	I ordered the 6" thick version. I unzipped the cover and you can see 4" of regular open cell foam that's quit firm and a 2" layer of Tempur-pedic type memory foam glued on top of that.
