Answer:	Yes. I bought this bed to use during recoverly from a surgery that prevented me from going upstairs to our bedroom. As delived and set up, it was very low to the floor. I put a single bed mattress on top of the foam mattress and it was perfect. Also, I am in my 70's, and not good at assembling things. I managed all myself. This was great find.

If too stiff, it is much easier to add an additional foam mattress cover, though the 5in thick dense foam mattress it comes with is fine for us.

Answer:	YES. I weigh 210lbs and it supports me. DO make sure that you place the nylon joiners onto the slats. When weight is on one, the joiners solicit support from the adjacent ones. there are enough to make 2 rows of them, if you are concerned about weight. And don't forget to insert the little rectangular plugs in the ends of each slat, as they prevent them from coming out if flexed under load. I'm 6ft2 and to my surprise it is big enough for me.

Answer:	The height is adjustable. You can adjust to 45 degree or 90 degree or 180 degree.

Answer:	I would describe as firm. It isn’t flimsy. It isn’t something you’d want to sleep on all the time but I had a 60-something friend sleep on it for a couple of nights and she said it was comfortable. When not used for sleeping, I use as chaise to watch TV. The support pillow that comes with is not enough for me. I use an additional pillow to support my lower back. It isn’t something you can sink into with a good book but then I didn’t really buy it for that.
