Answer:	No, there are no locking wheels. This unit just rolls out from under the day bed and does not have the capability to rise up to the same level as the day bed.

Answer:	Yes, they do move from all directions. It has very small wheels close to the floor. Have really enjoyed it my grandson sleeps on it.
