Answer:	Not clear about the "space behind the wall", but perhaps it is a protruding wall. Anyway, space behind the wall does not matter. Correct installation just requires a flush contact with a stable wall for a secure anchor to prevent movement while opening and closing the bed.

Answer:	We guess the boxes weighed about 300 pounds. It took two people to unload it out of the car.
Question:	If I choose expert assembly how are these assemblers selected? Have they assembled this bed before
Answer:	Bestar does not offer assembly services. However, we recommend that you contact certified professionals to install these wall beds.

Answer:	Hello. The wood may chip a little bit yes. However, if there is a crack, then you will have to order a replacement part by contacting Bestar.
Question:	So this is anchored only to wall? I will be changing my floor. Install this before or after floor
Answer:	You only have to anchor it to the wall. It does require you to notch out your baseboards though. I would install after you change you floor and before you go in with the baseboards.
Question:	is it easy to open and close
Answer:	Yes, I love it! It is easy to assemble some of the instructions are a little confusing but if you take your time and read ahead you can figure it out. I wouldn't hire the company from Amazon to install it as when I did, they damaged it and did not know what they were doing. Trying to work with them to get made whole with a new bed was very difficult and dissatisfying. I used a 10" mattress and no issues with it staying down by it self. Very happy with the product!
