Answer:	Will answer in mid August. Family is not sleeping on it until then. We just received it and put it together. We will put a very thick matttess pad on it as well.

Answer:	When closed in cabinet position, the mattress sits on slats. When opened in bed position, the mattress lays on a slat assembly in one part, the front door panel in another part and on the top panel that is taken off in another part.

Answer:	Yes, all hardware is included. Although, we ultimately used different screws to mount the bed to the wall because we mounted it to a concrete wall.

Answer:	Mattress is not included. I wouldn’t buy this if I were you. Looks good in the picture but can’t hold its own weight up without breaking. Broke after one use.
Question:	What are the correct measurements for the outside of this? the specs say 85.2 x 34.4 x 2.6 in. but a queen mattress is 60 " wide, so something's off
Answer:	I don't know, but what I do know is I put a queen in it and it broke the cheap doors so I had to have new doors built and this cost me $500
Question:	Why the extreme reviews? Some people say it's junk, others say it's sturdy. Is it how people put it together? Is it how often it's used
Answer:	I put one of these in my cabin about 5 years ago. They have a video on assembly on their website that recommend two people need to put it together. I was 60 at the time & did it all by myself in one day, including unpacking the boxes. There were a couple of things that would have been easier with two people, but if you watch the video, study the instructions & you're a handy person, it's not that hard. IMO, the design & hardware are excellent. For use of just a few weeks or a month a year, it's been perfect for me. I do agree with one of the other comments, if for everyday use, upgrade to a better grade, because it's particle board & I did break one of the front panels last trip to the cabin, my fault. Another comment mentions it's pillow eater. I bought a pillow top mattress for mine & have no problems with that. Another tip, I have the FULL size, because that's all the room I had available, but it's designed to be able to use a Full XL mattress, which is about 2" longer. Had I known, I would have searched for one, because I've busted my shins a couple times making the bed. Overall, I love it for my tight quarters, I sleep a lot better while I'm there since I got it. Last trip I even installed a flush mount LED light fixture in the top so I can read in bed, bought here on Amazon.Love it. The only thing I would change, is I wished it was made of real wood, like oak & it would be perfect.

Answer:	Hi, The gas lifts are often thought to be defective because of how rigid they are. They are tested repeatedly before leaving the factory however, as long as you can show us that there is a problem with any part that you have then we will replace it.

Answer:	Not clear about the "space behind the wall", but perhaps it is a protruding wall. Anyway, space behind the wall does not matter. Correct installation just requires a flush contact with a stable wall for a secure anchor to prevent movement while opening and closing the bed.

Answer:	We guess the boxes weighed about 300 pounds. It took two people to unload it out of the car.
