So, squeaking isn’t a problem this far and I have not cracked it. |

We had these in a twin and used that, but forgot when we upgraded and a couple of the boards have already split (we just bought these at Christmas) Not a deal breaker to me for the price, still a nice set for what you are paying for it. My oldest son is on the bottom bunk so that no unnecissary weight is on the top, he is not able to sit up without bumping his head, also something to keep in mind. He is 15 and about 5'10 though so if you are purchasing for younger kids you should be fine. Just a couple heads up for ya. lol Hope that helps! Overall we are happy with it, our boys share a room and this allowed them to have bigger beds but not take away all their floor space and even has the trundle for friends who sleep over. |
