Answer:	Hi Grace2u, I paired this frame with the DHP 6 inch mattress (Bought both from the same company just to be safe because I wanted to make sure they would fit). I did some research and a lot of the reviews about the 8 inch mattress said that it was too thick to fold up easily into a couch, so I went with the 6 inch. If you're looking for the squishy tempurpedic mattress, the 6-inch won't match your needs, but if you like a relatively firm mattress, I would highly recommend this futon. In my honest opinion, the it is one of the most comfortable futons I've ever slept on and I would say that you could easily use this everyday! The only issue I had was the smell, but it wears off in a few days.As for the actual frame, I mostly just leave it in the couch position. For me, it is a little difficult to move between couch and futon position because of the stiffness. But otherwise, the frame does it's job! I think it also matters which futon you use it with. I am pretty happy with the combination that I bought!

You could but a box spring on the top full part of the bed but my daughter just has a mattress on it now and you can't feel any difference. Answer:	No, it is not flexible in arrangement of the ladders or desk. If you had the proper tools for drilling into metal and were handy you might be able to find a way to make it work, but it wouldn't be easy and it might compromise the integrity of the frame.
