I put a big tote box behind the dresser, and I store less used toys in it. To one side of the dresser I put a bean bag chair, and have my child's TV near the bed. He loves sitting in the bean bag in his little "hideaway cave" reading books or watching TV I loved this bed, it was a great purchase because it is not so high that I worry about him. It is just the right height for me to be able to tuck him in, he is right at my eye level, standing up. |

The part of the bed where the bunkie board and matress sit is around 59-60 inches from ground. Then bunkie boards were 1.5in, and mattress 5in. I did have to purchase an alternate ceiling light fixture for this room as it was too close to the bed for comfort in my space. 9x11 with 87in ceiling. :) hope this helps. |
