| Answer: | No, it is straight up and down with the mattress. We kick our toes all the time. Now that winter has arrived we put a bead spread on the bed. With the added weight the hydraulic system will not hold the mattress up. It is so underpowered that it takes two of us to raise the bed with a bed spread on it. Plus, one of us has to hold it up while the other one gets what was needed. I would look at another option and not this one. We have a king bed with a sleep number air mattress on top with no box springs. Hope this helps. |
