Answer:	All the wood is grown in plantations in southern Brazil (imagine countryside that is like Georgia or the Carolinas) - thousands of miles away for the rainforests. The pine is grown in plantations so it is renewable.

Answer:	This listing is sold as Twin/Full/Twin.

Answer:	Not sure. The top bunk is a little wobbly with a bigger kid on it. The bottom bunk I would say could probably support at least 200 lbs.
Question:	will a twin xl fit on the top or trundle
Answer:	I am not sure what a twin xl, but if it stands for extra large it may fit on the top bunk but the bottom may be a problem. I think I got a 10 inch for both, but for the bottom the trundle would not go in all the way, so I put some wood slats underneath frame and trundle rolled in easily. Under the middle bed there is support cross beam that was not allowing the trundle to go all the way in. I wanted something comfortable for my grandkids, but I wasn't sure they would fit, so I got what I think was a 10 inch mattress for the twins and a 12 inch for the Middle full size bed. They were very comfortable.

Answer:	10-1/2 inches
Question:	How thick a mattress (in inches) will the trundle take without actually touching the upper bed
Answer:	I ordered a 6” memory foam mattress for the trundle and there is at least 1-1.5” of clearance.

Answer:	I don't know the max, I'm 270 and it holds me with no problems.
Question:	Can use a regular thickness twin mattress
Answer:	I just assemble the bed and trundle. I have not ordered the mattresses yet because I wanted to measure the clearance. You have 7" for a mattress on the trundle - any larger and it will not slide easily under the bed. The top mattress can be any thickness you choose.

Question:	Is there a way i can raise the bed higher off the ground
Answer:	I am not for sure if you can use risers to raise the bed. Pay close attention to the weight requirements on the bed risers that you may consider purchasing, and the ease of the trundle being able to slide in and out from under the lower bunk. Otherwise, I do not see why you could not raise the bed other than your ceiling height, the ceiling light or fan for safety issues.
Question:	Would a 8 inch mattress be recommended or two big
Answer:	We have an 8 inch on the "middle" bed and 6 inch on the other two. If you put an 8 inch on the top then they wouldn't be able to use the rails and if you put one at the bottom it doesn't glide in and out as smoothly with all the bedding.
Question:	Are the ladders on the bunk with trundle bed reversible
