Answer:	I don't see why it shouldn't. Although it sits really low you may not even need the rail at all.

Answer:	I purchased this bed for my 38 pound son in August. The slats broke in September. It is not sturdy. The way you have to assemble the bed isn’t sturdy at all.

Answer:	No you can't. With the way it is built the stairs and slide can only attach safety in one place

Answer:	Bed is one item purchased. The mattress is another item that I purchased separately. Plus, the sheet set another purchase, and i also purchased a blanket and pillow each separately, to complete the total bed setup for our grandson... and he loves it (he is 2 1/2).

Answer:	It seems fairly sturdy but I believe the weight capacity is only about 50 pounds. When I read to my granddaughter, I usually sit on the floor right next to the bed.

Answer:	Yes. The Allan key that comes with it will easily help disassemble everything. It took me about 15min with a broke hand and my 2yr old son putting it together. Everything comes stored packed inside the headboard. The only semi difficult part was screwing the slats down as there was no pilot holes drilled (pre drilled). The only thing that made it semi difficult, aside from my 2yr old trying to help screw the slats down, was the fact my dominant hand is the one that's broken. So I had to do it left handed. Thanks pine wood is soft and was easy enough to put the wood screws through.

Answer:	Just one box. It says box 1 of 5 so I was confused, but all the pieces were in that one box. Goes together pretty easily with two people.

Answer:	An 8.5" mattress will work and still leave a safe distance between the mattress and top of guardrail. The manufacturer recommends 9" or less.
