Answer:	Not that I can figure...they are used primarily for mounting a headboard and foot board. The mattress does kinda slide around on top of the frame...so you might end up fussing with the bed skirt and remaking the bed every morning.

Answer:	The brackets are not usable. It is better to use something else!
Question:	Can you attach a headboard
Answer:	No useless used only the bed skirt.
Question:	Can a headboard be attached to it
Answer:	I have not. However, I wanted to share that the issue I had with this bracket is that the bottom of the bracket with the holes for attaching it to a headboard does not align with the holes on a standard headboard. That said, there are still two ways to attach the brackets to any headboard. First, you can simply drill holes in your headboard that align with the holes in the brackets. An alternative to that is what I done, which is to use two pieces of wood, I would suggest 1x3 or 1x4 and cut to approximately 10 inches long. Drill holes in the wood to align with the holes in your headboard and attach it with screws. Then drill holes in the wood to align with the holes in the brackets and attach with screws. I got this idea because I previously had a bed that used a similar system to attach the headboard to a platform base. If these brackets don't align with your Pier 1 headboard, I hope that one of these suggestions will be helpful.

Answer:	Combined weight of the people on this bed is up to 500 lbs. I would caution to NOT EXCEED 500 lbs and would actually conclude that 500 lbs is the maximum of the weight of the persona plus the weight of the mattress just to be safe.

Answer:	...The full frame is cut for a full mattress. Any bigger and your mattress will flop over the sides. Think for a second.

Answer:	The bed comes needing to be assembled. The parts are: 2 Bed Foot/Head (single piece each) 2 sides 2 foot rests 12 middle supports And all the screws you need to put them together, and even a hex wrench. The setup is laid out pretty straight forward for you in a 3-step process. Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.

Answer:	I loctited all of the screws, and for the middle support beam, I used JB weld on the screws for a more snug and secure hold. Haven't had any issues, even with >500 pounds of activity between 2 people very vigorously.
Question:	Has anyone's frame become squeaky over time
Answer:	I've had the 6" king frame for a year and a half and no squeaks. (June '17 - Dec '18) I even had to take it apart, move it and reconstruct it and still no squeaks. It was definitely put through its paces that first year.

Answer:	14 inch legs attached to base. The 16 inch bed skirt is perfect but the clearance for storage is 14 inch.

Answer:	The metal slats click into the slots pretty easily. I'm using this as a day bed outside with a twin futon mattress on it and there's plenty of support and no noise.

Answer:	Yes, it does allow for a headboard to be attached. The legs supporting the 'head' both have two slots each that will accept bolts / screws. When the frame is fully assembled, the first slot on each leg is approx 5 and 1/4 inches from the ground, and the second slot is 7 and 3/4 inches off the ground. The slots themselves are roughly 1/4 inch wide, and could accept a variety of bolt widths.

Answer:	Anchoring headboard to frame does increase stress at frames wedge joints that amplifies your movements in bed. We didn't have a problem with noise but the movement bothered my wife who suffers from concussion vertigo. I added 8" x 12" triangle corner braces to headboard end of frame which eliminated the movement. Paint plate steel flat black and you will never notice them.
