Answer:	Thanks for your inquiry. The product needs to be used with a box spring.
Question:	Can this system be used under the "plastic boxes" on which a sleep number bed mattress rests
Answer:	I would still put at least a layer of wood between the support frame and the mattress. I bought 1x10 yellow pine at Loews and covered the frame making sure the wood rested firmly on the bed frame as well. I used a regular sealy queen. I felt it gave the mattress solid support. I have a sleep number bed myself now. Because they are such an expensive unit, I wouldn't risk damaging the mattress. By the way, I got rid of the frame (nothing really wrong with it though) and went with the support unit with sleep number - the kind that can raise the foot and head. My back has been happy since. But I would never just put the sleep number unit on this frame without some other support - either the pine boards or plywood (3/4). Good luck.
Question:	Can these be screwed in directly to the wooden rails? do i need to add a bunkie board for additional support even though i have box spring
Answer:	If you have a box spring no bunky board is required. I mounted my X-support system to the wooden rails that used to support the wooden slats on my bed. Used 6 wood screws to do the job, 3 to a side. My mattress is a heavy king and there are 2 box springs to support it. It all works well, no additional support needed.
Question:	I have a bed with metal side rails -- will this work with an all-metal frame? One reviewer says it won't, but the product description says it will work with both a metal and wood side boards. What's the story
Answer:	This is a bit of a mixed answer - It CAN work with just about any metal frame, but it will be a lot easier with some frames compared to others. The support does include the necessary hardware to bolt to a metal frame.The tricky part is that with a wood frame, you simply screw the cross rails down where they rest. Most metal frames will have some holes pre-drilled in them along the rails, but the support may not perfectly line up with all of those holes since it has a fixed spacing between cross rails.With a metal bed frame, the options usually are:1) Rest the "lip" of the cross supports on the inside of your bed rail. Bolt down as many holes as will line up, leave the others resting. This isn't the most secure option, but will still provide good support.2) Drill 1/4" holes in your bed frame using a bit made for metal which will line up with the ends of the cross supports, so you can bolt down all six points.Using this with a metal frame is definitely possible and will provide good support, but it won't be quite as easy as using it with a wood frame.If your metal frame already has some pre-drilled holes, you may want to look at a support such as the Mighty Lift FQU-11 which doesn't have a fixed spacing - This will let you line up the cross rails with the pre-drilled holes.

Answer:	Yes it will. Please keep in mind of the dimensions of the item. We design our frames 1" shy of the actual mattress dimensions for the purpose to fit inside of a box frame and to avoid customers from bumping their shins when hoping onto bed.

Answer:	32.75" from center leg to front/rear leg. The distance from the *top* of either support brace to the center leg is about 28.75". So for anything wider than that height would also be an issue.

Answer:	I've used this same frame (the king size) with a 10 inch memory foam mattress. It worked great even with supporting more than 550lbs nightly. To be fair though, our memory foam was thick and very firm.

Answer:	Well, this particular posting is for 3 and believe me, I thought the same thing. One ought to do the trick. But, I am actually glad I brought the set. My daughters box spring was starting to bow a bit which is why the reason I started looking, then I realized that I could install all 3 in the frame and boy was it worth it. The bed was completely stable and very firm. No more worrying about the girls jumping in the bed now and after only a few months of being installed the box spring's bow has been corrected and now is flat. Looks like I installed these just in time, but it is definitely because I installed the 3 support brackets which gave it the stability that one would expect. I highly recommend it.

Answer:	Combined weight of the people on this bed is up to 500 lbs. I would caution to NOT EXCEED 500 lbs and would actually conclude that 500 lbs is the maximum of the weight of the persona plus the weight of the mattress just to be safe.
Question:	Can the full size frame fit for full - XL mattress
Answer:	...The full frame is cut for a full mattress. Any bigger and your mattress will flop over the sides. Think for a second.
Question:	Does this bed frame disassemble? Or does it come in one piece as shown
Answer:	The bed comes needing to be assembled. The parts are: 2 Bed Foot/Head (single piece each) 2 sides 2 foot rests 12 middle supports And all the screws you need to put them together, and even a hex wrench. The setup is laid out pretty straight forward for you in a 3-step process. Step 1 is to put one of the sides on each head/foot (the two pieces will look identical at this point) Step 2 is then to screw these two sides together. Step 3 is to add the middle supports, both between the two sides and the two foot rests. It looks exactly as shown once assembled.

Answer:	We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. We are tall and weight proportional and this mattress does not slide, move, or sink thru slats. It looks great, clean lines and lots of storage underneath. Five stars from these two senior citizens!! Question:	mattress would work for king size bed frame
Answer:	Probably what they call one inch is likely the same as what you have. 1 inch is 3/4 when milled to be smooth. If they were really one inch actual it would say five quarter 5/4. Which is one inch milled. I don't recall the slats being a full inch in thickness

Answer:	You can cut the fabric that they are attached to. That’s what I did to put them between other slats in my frame. Doesn’t look pretty, but nobody will see and it works.
