Answer:	Yes, one side is normal and the other is 10x magnification. Nice and compact for travel but I wish it were round.

Answer:	I should answer "I don't know" because I haven't weighed it. But it is quite lightweight without being flimsy! I use it on my dressing table for everyday makeup application. it's easy to flip from one side of the mirror to the other, doesn't take up much room, good for trips. It has not tipped over or been knocked over even once because of its light weight, and it is considerably lighter than the usual 5" and 7" mirrors I've had in the past. It was not my original intention to use this for everyday, but I am. I still can't answer how much it weighs!
