Answer:	It is brown but not a dark brown. Sort of a milk chocolate brown. I wish it were darker.

Answer:	The interior width on the short side is 13 inches. It is 10.5 inches to where the top fits down on it's support in the interior, but it is just 12 inches high altogether. The 12 inches goes from the bottom or the inside base to the inside of the removable tops. Hope that helps.

Answer:	the tops are sturdy and yes you can sit on it. you really can't put your feet up on it it's a little to high. but the quality is great I have a small apartment so the storage is a plus. I wish it came with the smaller ottomans.

Answer:	I think that would be best answered by the manufacturer, but I would think yes. It's very sturdy, and each side seems to be at least 3/4" thick. I think that would give you enough room to screw into it (though you'd have to screw through the fabric; I'm not sure how well that would hold up).

Answer:	No. It does not fold flat at all. But this is a very nice ottoman/storage piece. We purchased it in white for our son and daughter-in-law's nursery. It works perfectly with their rocking chair and has plenty of storage for the babies blankets.

Answer:	Correct. The dimensions are 23"wide X 16" in diameter by 15" high. By the way I love this . It is the best. I bought it for my husband and we use it to sit on, to store things, and as a hassock. The quality is superb and it came in perfect condition. It is beautiful and I love it.

Answer:	Yes, as long as the trays are placed on top correctly. The trays don’t fit right when I put them the wrong direction and sometimes one side pops up if I have my feet resting on it. But if you check that before sitting it should be fine.
