Answer:	I'm sorry but I can't tell you. I have a brother QL 700 label printer and print all of my labels and return addresses, then stick them on the envelopes. The manual for my laser printer does not say anything one way or the other about printing addresses directly on envelopes with metal clasps, but I would not want to risk it myself.
