| Answer: | Hello, 600 thread count refer 600 threads per square inch ! you can take the product to a lab and they would be able to count 600 threads in 1 square inch. We have used the best-in-class, finest yarns which almost no other retailer in the US can afford to use in making this "suitable weight" product as well. The fact is higher the thread count, more number of threads, which results in heavier fabric. This is still a heavy fabric if you compare it to let's say a 400tc or 500tc sheet fabric, but if you compare it to any other 600 or even 800tc in the market, this is a lighter & finer weight fabric because of the superfine yarns used by us to weave this fabric. We have used 120's x 140's singles - made from long-staple cotton fibers, spun on compact yarn spinning machines. No other high thread count sheets in the US have specs like our 600tc 100% Pure Cotton sheet - and this statement is not a marketing trick. Thanks |
