Answer:	I've had these on my bed for about a month-and-a-half now. They seem to wash fine and dry fine. They are super comfy and warm. Some of the other brands that are like this that sell on here I've tried and by the end of the winter they have pilled up at the bottom of my where my feet are and aren't soft anymore just like you were talking about. Answer:	The sheets are thick. Not too thick, though. Just right. I wash them in hot water and dry them in the dryer. I take them out promptly and they don't wrinkle. I don't think that they are made in layers. There doesn't seem to be anything sewn together or "sandwiched in" like a quilt. The sheets just seem to be made out of a nice weight of cotton flannel.Any fabric can have electrostatic charges, depending on the humidity, or lack thereof. I use dryer sheets (like Bounce) and have not noticed any static when I take the sheets out of the dryer.As I said in my review, for the money, these are the nicest flannel sheets I have found. Excellent value.
