Answer:	With a featherbed and a sherpa mattress protector, my bed is about 16" deep. They fit over the corners and don't completely cover the sides. I haven't had any trouble with them popping off, and I'm a restless sleeper. They're sateen-like, so they do have some slip, but not as much as say satin. For the price, I think they're worth it. They are pretty thin, though.
