Answer:	I'm not sure about the thread count. I got the pillowcases to use on decorative pillows on my bed. I will say these are very nice. The colors are lovely and they are soft and silky to the touch. They wash well and never wrinkle. I didn't like that extra pocket at the opening so I sewed it down.
