Wikipedia says, "Rayon is a manufactured fiber made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated as cellulose fiber." I believe that in the manufacturing process, the fibers are extruded from cellulose. Contrast that with cotton which is cleaned, combed, spun, and then woven, which is how all "natural" fibers and turned into fabric, going back to women at home taking wool off a sheep to weaving it into fabric. |

We test each batch prior to sewing with a special pile resistance machine. It basically rubs the sheets constantly. We run it overnight to test each batch. If you look at our reviews I don’t think we have had a case of piling in 2 years. Sometimes people confuse a weave issue for piling. | Answer: | As this is being voted up, I want to further the point regarding single vs double pick. Single pick is often much more superior to double pick. As it creates a softer more durable fabric. Up to 40% stronger than double pick. Other brands will use double pick because it allows them to use an inferior fabric. The result is a less durable, scratchy product but the ability to market a higher thread count. Remember a higher thread count is not indicative of a better product. It just means a higher thread count. Not all bamboo sheets are created equal as manufacturers have many ways to save on cost. Using lower thread counts, using cheaper yarns, using a cheaper dye process, opting for non Made in Green/Oeko Tex/Organic materials. Also many bamboo sheets marketed on Amazon and elsewhere are actually blends. As microfiber fabric is 90% cheaper than bamboo, it is cost effective to blend it in with bamboo threads. We opt for the best of yarn, single pick, dye process, and from Made in Green Oeko Tex certified facilities across the entire chain of production. Not just our factory, but the entire chain. This results in the highest quality bamboo sheets available. We know because we make bamboo sheets for brands that sell for over $300 and even their sheets opt to cut corners in different aspects. Dry on low to medium and remove immediately when done to prevent wrinkles.DO NOT use liquid chlorine bleach and fabric softener. Prefer not to use dryer sheets either.Try to wash the sheets by themselves, washing them with other items especially towels that have a lot of lint will cause excess friction and piling to occur. It is normal over the course of time for bamboo sheets to pile, but proper care will go a long way to keep them from piling.You can also iron the sheets as well but if you take them out immediately after the dryer they shouldn't need too much ironing. |

| Answer: | Deborah, are you measuring from the top of the mattress or from where your present sheet starts ? I am trying to buy sheets online and I looked at the fitted sheet on my Queen bed tonight and I measured from the very top of the mattress to where it goes down and tucks under and my friend said I should measure from where my present sheet's seam starts. Then I realized that I didn't need a 16" deep pocket - I hope! |

| Answer: | I use and have used micro fiber sheets for 10 plus years. Many different brands, bought multiple years (for my boat) they are amazing to use HOWEVER they will always smell like polyester. ALWAYS FOREVER 40+ washes with different softener or temperature (dryer too) will never change the smell. That being said, the sheets are amazing, durable, soft, strong and easy to care. I just keep using febreeze type before use. |

| Answer: | LIES. These are not like luxury sheets. Yes they’re soft no you don’t slide off. Reminds me of soft flannel sheets but super thin. |

| Answer: | The ones we bought are made of "microfiber." But that's just a generic term: it simply means a very fine--small diameter--synthetic thread, finer than a strand of silk (which itself is very fine). The basic purpose of using microfibers is that they are very soft and, well, silky. Polyester, Nylon and Kevlar are all used to make microfibers. I remember something in the packaging mentioning "birch," as in the tree, being the source of the material. If that's the case then the microfibers would be cellulosic: Rayon or Viscose, which are soft and luxurious by nature. The fabric could also be a blend, say incorporating polyester microfibers for strength. Regardless, all of these fibers are reasonably stain resistant so I don't believe there is a separate treatment for that. And they're all hypoallergenic.But remember, I'm only guessing as to the chemistry of the actual thread. |
