Beware of the amount of clearance that exist once the trundle is in place and buy a mattress that will fit and be able to still roll freely from under the bed frame. I purchased this trundle because it has a very low profile allowing me to use a standard twin mattress under a regular metal bed.

Answer:	Long term? I would be more concerned about the fabric. It’s strong and well made, but the sun and salt air are brutal on just about everything. The metal pieces are coated with a thick paint. I can’t speak directly to being rust proof, but I could believe that claim.

Answer:	This bed comes in two separate carrying bags each weighing about 25 lbs. and somewhat big. They are not bad to carry even though they are long bags but not bulky and you don't have to take both if you don't need it (just make sure you take the bottom one if only using one)

Answer:	When I purchased this set, it contained 2 beds that stacked into two bunk beds. You can separately buy pieces to increase the height between the beds or to add cushioned feet to the bottom bed, but it comes with 2 beds that can be stacked and all the pieces necessary to stack them.

Answer:	It says in the listing description they ARE POLYESTER microfiber. I admit, they are very soft, but I thought I was getting cotton. :(

Answer:	The fitted sheet is fully elasticized. It's more of a loose elastic not super snug or tight. The pockets on our bed are closer to 15 inches deep with our pillow top. These sheets stay on pretty good but after a while will pull up some on the sides but have not come off the corners. They are very soft and cozy sheets. I'm thinking these are deep pocket but not extra deep if that is what's needed. Hope this helps!

Answer:	yes, they are solid wood pieces, not particle board. it is quite sturdy, but not without some wiggle when on top of one another. I have active 9 year old and 12 year old boys and the bunkbeds are holding up very well.

Answer:	We didn't buy box springs. You don't need them bc they have slats and box springs would make them too high. The mattresses were standard twin. I hope that helps. The bed is a good sturdy one that can fit easily if space is limited.
