Answer:	Most people are actually allergic to dust or dander, not down itself. If it says hypoallergenic it means the feathers/down were hyper cleaned over and over until the mixture was void of dust/dirt/ dander. I believe this is what they mean.

Higher costs more because down is not side product of geese for eating and raised only for the down. 750 is high quality. 750 traps more air than 500. Perhaps it will take 80 ounces of 500 down to be as warm as 40 ounces of 750 down in same size comforter. Also the higher quality down springs back quicker and longer (decades). Baffle construction (rectangular 3-D box) is best to allow loft of down and heat not to escape through the stitching.

I found the perfect answer for any duvet and it holds comforter in place w/o slipping, tearing, shifting or sewing! I found these clear hard plastic circles (doubles-one snaps inside the other ) to hold corners in place w/o any problems. I first used them 4 a med. weight comforter (not this one) and an antique lace duvet. Held beautifully and invisibly w/no damages. With the corner tabs, you just put the larger circle on the top of tab and the smaller circle on the outside bottom of the duvet cover and snap together.Voila! I can't recall the name but Bed,Bath & Beyond has a four-pack for about $10-$12.Just tell them what you are looking for and that you need clear plastic comforter/duvet cover corner holders. They also last forever and are easy to remove for cleaning or changing styles.
