Answer:	Most people are actually allergic to dust or dander, not down itself. If it says hypoallergenic it means the feathers/down were hyper cleaned over and over until the mixture was void of dust/dirt/ dander. I believe this is what they mean.

Answer:	I don't know how these work w/o sewing fabric ties on both comforter and duvet. I found the perfect answer for any duvet and it holds comforter in place w/o slipping, tearing, shifting or sewing! I found these clear hard plastic circles (doubles-one snaps inside the other ) to hold corners in place w/o any problems. I first used them 4 a med. weight comforter (not this one) and an antique lace duvet. Held beautifully and invisibly w/no damages. With the corner tabs, you just put the larger circle on the top of tab and the smaller circle on the outside bottom of the duvet cover and snap together.Voila! I can't recall the name but Bed,Bath & Beyond has a four-pack for about $10-$12.Just tell them what you are looking for and that you need clear plastic comforter/duvet cover corner holders. They also last forever and are easy to remove for cleaning or changing styles.

Answer:	It is 100% cotton. Soft and brushed. Much better than the polyester cover that I used to have on a different one from another brand.
Question:	Is this prewashed
Answer:	Not sure if it was prewashed but ideally you should wash the comforter before you use them. Don’t know exactly factory condition/cleanliness. These are light enough that the king size can be washed on a front load at home.

Answer:	Don’t know the exact count but I’m using it like over a month now. You can actually see what’s inside if hold against the light. But trust me it’s really effective.

Answer:	@ Darwin > for whatever reason, you're a liar. It's a very nice comforter and the loft when it's laying on the bed is at least a couple inches.

Answer:	As someone who sold down cots for a LONG time-the duck down that I sold was taken from ducks that were killed for meat. Yea it isn’t fun that they died, but they are not live plucked at all.
