Answer:	Absolutely not! It doesn't have to do with size, it has more to do with their immature response to their airway being covered. Instead of waking up they just fall deeper and deeper asleep until they do not wake up. I would not use a mattress topper for any child less than 2 years old. Using one can be VERY dangerous. Just ask your pediatrician.

Answer:	Absolutely NO! I ordered this for a 5 month old. The mattress molds to the face. I put my face down onto it and the whole side of my face including part of the nose and mouth were completely covered. I would say no to newborns, infants and in some cases toddlers that are less advance.

Answer:	The cover is bamboo, that zips off and is washable; however, you’re going to need to cover it with the fitted bed sheet, as recommended, because the covers pill like mad, very quickly. When that happens, they look filthy even though they aren’t, and no shaver I found removes them. I pin white towels on mine to keep them white, because the covers for my pillows are really pricey.

Answer:	If there aren't any specific washing instructions indicated either on the label or the packaging, I would suggest proceeding with caution. Pillow explosions in the washing machine are not pretty. So, If you must launder throw pillows you might want to consider investing in either a polyester or cotton zippered pillowcase made for a standard bed pillow; these are GREAT! for containing any messes should they happen. Place the throw pillow into the zipper case, zip closed and toss into the washer, using the gentle cycle. Use your own judgement as to whether or not you think line drying is a better idea than machine drying based on the pillow(s) you own.

Answer:	I found those suggestions to be untrue. When I tried the larger fill the pillows are full to bursting and don’t lay nicely or feel good when using. Maybe it depends on your pillow cover. I’m going to order the 18x18 now to try.

Answer:	If you want an over stuffed plump look then you need to get 20" - not the cheap stuff - good quality. If you just want it to look full then an inexpensive 20" would do. An 18" insert would leave the 18"pillow cover looking sad - not filled out or plump. In the other hand some of the 18"icovers being sold are closer to a 17" - then an 18" insert would be fine Now who is on first?

Answer:	The label says 99% grey duck feathers and 1% grey duck down. The cover is 100% cotton. I find the pillow to have just the right amount of weight to it and don't find it to be heavy at all. It isn't "over filled" and fluffs nicely. It is a very nice quality pillow.
