Answer:	I have needed to wash it yet However directions said wash and dry in auto matic washer and dry in the dryer. I would use gentle with it.

Answer:	I don’t have a scale to give you the exact weight, but I can say it is lightweight and a good size. I have washed it and put it back in the case for an upcoming trip to Europe. I think it will fit nicely in my carry-on backpack. I’m happy with the purchase and look forward to using it as a blanket or lower back pillow.
