Answer:	Yes. A pair, because mine is a queen. Luckily the blanket was in the box too. Seriously. I wish you asked an actual question instead of what you wrote. Because of that you forced me to guess at what you want to know. The pair of controllers that I got were not what was pictured. These are cheaper and not backlit. The dials move freely and the numbers are painted on the perimeter of the dial. I hope I guessed correctly at what you want to know.

Question:	Hello, can some body help answer how do you wash this blanket
Answer:	I haven't had the blanket for very long and I usually do not use it at the higher settings so the controllers have stayed cool. I also turn them off as soon as I am out of the bed. So I don't know if the controllers of your son in law were faulty initially or if they got that way with constant use. It could be an issue to consult with the manufacturer through the internet. Gadgets that convert household current to low voltage to charge say cell phones or rechargable cell batteries do get hot if left plugged in for very long periods of time after charging. They usually recommend to unplug them after use.
Question:	when i first turn the blanket on, the dial lights up for about 5 seconds, then the light turns off - is the blanket on? anyone else
Answer:	10/25/18: I spoke with their Warranty Center (800-299-1378) today. This blanket has an unconditional 5-year warranty. Even if it has to be replaced several times. Great Customer Service.
