Answer:	This question was a while ago, but maybe the answer would help others. It says it pulls 4.6 amps, which means it would consume 36.8 amp hours over the course of 8 hours. But two things: first, you can't just use a car battery. You need a deep cycle battery that is designed to be discharged deeply without failing quickly. And even with the right kind of battery, you still can't discharge it below 50% without risking damage to the battery and greatly decreasing its lifespan. So you need a deep cycle battery of at least 73.6 amp hours to run this thing for one eight hour period, and you should probably round up a bit in case it pulls more than it says it's going to, and to make sure you stay well out of the deep discharge danger zone and don't hurt your battery.
