Question:	How water resistant is it
Answer:	On a scale of 1-10, 1 being it sucks humidity out of the air, 10 being it merely being around is enough to make water roll away I'd say 6. If the blanket is outside and it starts raining, go get it then curl up in it and be dry and warm, but don't leave it outside. I bought this blanket and I'm very happy about it
Question:	What is the weight of this blanket and what are it's washing instructions
Answer:	For item code 7210-00-282-7950 It weighs three pounds, nine and three eighth ounces i.e. just over three and a half pounds (sorry for writing this in full but the spell checker on this site keeps correcting the numbers to letters) and the instructions on it say "MACHINE WASH, GENTLE COOL TEMP. ADD FABRIC SOFTNER (sic) TO FINAL RINSE, TUMBLE DRY, LOW HEAT". I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it works out if you follow the instructions.

Answer:	Wool tends to have certain natural earthy features and scents (similar to the uniqueness of leather), and because every bit of wool strand is different from the next, you may receive a blanket with a little more scent than the next. If it's not for you, there are some good wool washes on the market with great reviews. Answer:	The an answer from the seller is incorrect, Wool is naturally fire Resistant and not fire retardant. Flame resistant fabrics are made from materials that are inherently nonflammable - the materials have flame resistance built into their chemical structures. Fabrics made with these types of materials are designed to prevent the spread of fire and will not melt or drip when in close proximity to a flame. Because flame resistant fabrics are not usually made from 100% flame resistant materials, they will burn, but will do so very, very slowly and are often self-extinguishing. Flame retardant fabrics are chemically treated to be slow burning or self-extinguishing when exposed to an open flame. These fabrics can be made from any material, but they must be treated with special chemicals to qualify as flame retardant. Treatments of this materials will degrade over time and in many places if using this types of fabrics in public fire marshal will cut a piece of the test fabric that is attached to this main material and due a burn test.

Use a Woolen Detergent

We recommend using a detergent formulated specifically for wool for best results. Like all loom-woven blankets, this blanket will shed during the first few washes.

Wash Separately in Cold Water

To keep shedding at an absolute minimum, we recommend hand washing your blanket in cold water.

You may also machine wash your blanket separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. However, to maximize the life of your blanket (and to avoid unnecessary shedding), we recommend washing your blanket by hand.

Line Dry Only

To extend the life of your blanket, we recommend line drying, if possible. Dryers are hard on clothes and blankets alike, and line drying is much gentler.

Answer:	I’m a size 14 and it fastens around me comfortably. Not sure if this helps, but I don’t always use the fastener. I like it just as a heating pad that fastens at my neck and comes down my back.
Question:	Is the Sherpa fleece blanket different than the waterproof fleece blanket
Answer:	The neck and shoulder 'flaps' do have heating elements and warm up nicely. Although overall I am a bit let down over the highest heat settings because it doesn't get hot enough for me. My decades old heating pad got much hotter but I imagine this one needs to be 'safer', thus less effective. Dont get me wrong, it gets nice and warm, but not hot.

Answer:	It should just be a few more days! A large shipment was delivered just a few days ago and is the process of being checked in.
Question:	Is this for one person or for 2 people
Answer:	I used it for two people in Cabela's Double Deluxe Tent Cot. Worked great while camping for four days in August. Cool nights down to the 50s. Also used a top sheet and slept on top of an old sleeping bag. Was the perfect warmth and we weren’t fighting all night for covers. I’m 5’6” and my friend is 5’8”, and we are both less than 180 lbs, so might be different if someone is taller or wider.

Helpful Tips

The extreme compressible quality of genuine down insulation allows your blanket to pack down super small. Please note that when you initially remove the blanket from its stuff sack after storage, it will appear thin and compressed. Not to worry!

Just give it a good shake and allow some time for the down to regain it full loft and poofy-ness.

For long term storage, we suggest hanging the blanket by its loops to retain the maximum insulating qualities of the down.
